MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician Due to a recent retirement, we looking for an MOT Tester to join our team at our well-known, family run, independent garage in New Eltham. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOTs in line with VOSA / DVSA guidelines, along with some vehicle servicing, mechanical and general MOT repairs. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA guidelines and standards, be able to report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements and keep all work areas clean and tidy safe from hazards and to Health and Safety standards. You will have previous Vehicle technician experience within the automotive industry and have a clean driving license. You must have a willingness to learn new skills and to keep yourself and other team members up to date on matters relating to MOT testing. As an MOT Tester Technician you will have: * A valid MOT Licence * Full UK Driving Licence * Excellent customer service skills * Experience in a professional workshop environment * The ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced customer focused environment * The willingness to constantly learn and improve your knowledge * The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work Your responsibilities will include: * Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements * Report on vehicle faults and carry out servicing and complete repairs as required * Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard * Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations This is a great opportunity to work with a proactive and friendly team.
