JOB PURPOSE The role of the MOT Tester is to: * Undertake Class IV MOT tests to the government standards. Department/Business/Location: Service Reports to: Service Manager Direct Reports: None KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This Job Description is not contractual, and the content may be updated at any time. * Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines * To report additional faults requiring attention. * To complete a full write up of work completed. * To ensure all documentation is completed promptly. * To maintain tools whether own or company in a safe and clean condition. * To ensure that all requirements of Harwoods health and safety procedures are maintained. * Maintaining and reporting on all DVSA standards Skills & Requirements Essential * Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification. * Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation * Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT. * Energy and enthusiasm. * Full UK driving licence. * Smart appearance.
