MOT Tester required in Brighton, East Sussex

• Basic Salary Up to £30,000 + OTE £34,800
• Franchised Electric Vehicle Dealership & Used Car Dealer
• Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30, Saturdays 1 in 3 0**** – 17:00 

Our client, a well-known Automotive Business, dealing within Commercial Vehicles, predominantly Electric LCVs, are currently seeking an MOT Tester for their busy team based in Brighton.
 
Our client has operated within the area for over 60 years, with multiple automotive operations. You will be part of a brand that represents high efficiency, outstanding performance and total reliability across its range of vehicles. They predominantly cater for the Electric Commercial Vehicle market and have been experiencing exceptional growth of the brand and within sales volume. Alongside this they have a successful used car operation and Service Centre.
 
You will be MOT Testing on all makes of models of cars and light commercials and ideally be experienced within this MOT Tester role.

Duties of a MOT Tester with our Client

• Carry out MOTs on a regular basis within the allocated time slots, in accordance with company and brand expectations.
• Completes repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager required.
• Actively supports company policy and best practice in security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.

What our client expects of their MOT Tester

• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Similar – with MOT Testing Licence for Class 4, 5 & 7.
• To provide basic tooling and equipment or be able to purchase own basic tooling and equipment prior to employment.
• A willingness to learn new skills
• Organisational skills, and work well under pressure
• Knowledge of the motor trade
• Good team player
• Full UK driving licence (Necessity)
