Genesis is looking for an experienced MOT tester to join one of our clients based in CV6 Longford, Coventry. Established in 1990 our client is Coventry’s award winning British Standard Approved Accident Repair centre. They have offered accident and repair services to businesses and the public in Coventry and surrounding areas for over 34 years. They also now offer MOT, Service and Mechanical repairs a total all round motoring service, with over 12 Manufacturer Approvals. The role: As a Mechanic you will be working on all makes and models of vehicles and general tasks will include: · Carry Servicing, Tyre change, Aircon, diagnostic, four-wheel alignments, road tests · Ensure the necessary methods have been followed for each repair · Adhere to company policies guidelines and health and safety regulations · Embrace training and development to enhance and improve knowledge and skill set to further your career. About you: · Previous experience with the industry · NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent / Time served Experience (preferred) · A valid class 4, 5 and 7 MOT testing licence (not essential as training will be provided) · Experience in a professional workshop environment · A good approach to customer service · You must ensure all work is carried out to a high standard first time · Working from a job card and understanding processes · Diagnostics understanding Working Hours Standard business hours are 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday and 1 in 3 Saturday’s 8am – 12pm. The role will be based on a 40-hour contract, with overtime available. Salary Starting salary from £26,000 to £32,000 per year, £38,000 OTE dependant on experience
