Job description Job Overview Our client, a bury national autocentre in Rugby has the requirement for an experienced MOT Technician to join their established team. MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic your responsibilities will include: * Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards * Liaise with Centre Manager department regarding test result * Carry out re-tests as appropriate * Carry out quality inspections * Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure * Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner * Carry out New Cars PDI's, Used Car Multi Point Checks, and associated rectification. * Carry out minor MOT failures repairs. Experience, Skills & Qualifications Essential Requirements: * Active MOT Testing licence * 2 years MOT Testing Experience * Excellent attention to detail * Own Tools * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Requirements: * Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent * Manufacturer Accreditations Remuneration & Benefits * Basic Salary up to £32,000 DOE * On Target Earnings up to £36,000 * Great Benefits Package Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus scheme * Commission pay * Performance bonus Benefits: * Company pension * Employee discount * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekend availability Experience: * MOT Tester: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work authorisation: * United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: 03594
