Mobile Vehicle Technician Our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing companies has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team. A great opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible working and control over their working day. Previous experience working on vans and cars is essential and a commercial background experience is necessary. Job Description: • Ability to diagnose and rectify faults to our LCV and Car fleet (Ford, Mercedes, Renault, Peugeot, Fiat, Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda) • Be able to repair electrical systems and basic vehicle electrics • Work to Autodata repair times • Be able to strip and repair gearboxes when required • Replace engines (half assembled) • Be able to read wiring diagrams. • Fit aftermarket products (beacons, towbars, exterior lights etc.) • Be able to complete basic vehicle quality check and servicing as per Reflex standards • Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information • Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults • Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition • Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. • Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests • Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures Requirements * Minimum level 2 Mechanic Qualification * Minimum 2 years' experience working within a workshop * Must be able to use diagnostic equipment * Experience in fault diagnosis * Electrical knowledge is an advantage * Experience in a computerised maintenance management system is desirable * A strong communicator * A technical background is essential * Ability to work on your own and diarise jobs
