Experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician required, to cover East London areas. Monday to Friday day shifts. Our client specialises in vehicle and plant repairs, maintenance, and fleet management. Below, we have set out your roles & responsibility chart for your position as a Mobile Vehicle Technician. Responsibilities: * Working closely with your other team members, organise, plan & carry out routine visits to customer locations to carry out planned servicing and maintenance bookings. * Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work. * Discussing required repairs with admin team and customers. * Calculating the expected time for repairs. * Repairing or replacing components as required. * Road testing vehicles to test repair work or diagnose. * Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including parking sensors, cameras, towbars and reverse cameras. * Performing service and vehicle system safety checks. * Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension and diagnostics as required. * Ensure your vehicle is kept clean & tidy, ensuring it is always presentable and carrying out daily checks to ensure it is kept in serviceable condition. * Ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard and that vehicles are only released back to the user once it is in a safe and serviceable condition. * Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. * To carry out quality checks on all technician's work and discuss findings. * When requested visit off site locations and carry out safety guidelines are adhered to both personal and team health and well-being is kept in mind. * Provide accurate and timely service job sheets detailing assets completed. * Other duties as assigned.
