This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated engineer to join a busy team, working both in the workshop and on customer sites, carrying out a wide range of plant and fleet maintenance and repair tasks. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out thorough plant examinations and inspections * Plant maintenance, servicing and repair * Hydraulic hose replacement * Hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis * On-site welding and fabrication * Fitting green seatbelt beacon kits * Track and undercarriage repairs and overhauls * Machine and attachment overhauls * Lorry loader / grab lorry crane repairs * Tracker and immobiliser installation * Camera system installation * Crusher jaw replacement * Fleet van servicing * General wiring and electrical fault finding Requirements * Proven experience as a mobile plant fitter or similar role * Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems * Experience with welding and fabrication * Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently * Full UK driving licence * Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied and hands-on role within a well-established company in Salisbury. kolt recruitment specialise in automotive recruitment across the UK.
