We have an exciting position available for a skilled individual like you! As an ATA MET Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct mechanical and bodywork on allocated vehicles, ensuring all repairs are carried out to the highest standards. You'll play a crucial role in dismantling vehicles for panel shop work, performing inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic tasks, and ensuring vehicles are reassembled to pre-accident condition. Key Responsibilities * Perform all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicles, adhering to manufacturers' specifications and quality standards. * Dismantle vehicles efficiently and effectively to prepare them for panel shop work, ensuring thorough inspection and fault diagnosis. * Order replacement parts as needed and reassemble vehicles with new parts to restore them to pre-accident condition. * Plan workload effectively to meet agreed timescales, working both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. * Maintain a flexible approach and continually strive for excellence in work standards, prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety. * Adhere strictly to Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining clean, tidy work areas. About You We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes: * Significant experience as an MET Technician in an accident repair background, demonstrating proficiency in mechanical and bodywork tasks. * Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks. * Effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed timescales. * Strong teamwork abilities, coupled with the capacity to work independently and use initiative when required. * Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. * Strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.
