MET Technician  Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Basic + Bonus Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm Location: Reading Are you an experienced MET Technician looking to join a Bodyshop in Reading? Your Responsibilities Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components. Carry out vehicle strip and rebuild work following accident repairs. Diagnose and replace damaged vehicle components. Ensure all work is completed safely and to manufacturer repair methods where applicable. Work closely with Panel Beaters and Paint Technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently. Maintain excellent quality standards and attention to detail throughout every repair. What We're Looking For NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair, MET, Light Vehicle Maintenance (or time-served equivalent). Previous experience as an MET Technician or Strip & Fit Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop. Confident working with modern vehicle electrical and mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality repairs. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
