Benefits – MET Technician Excellent monthly bonus schemes Free life assurance Vehicle leasing schemes Pension & Save-As-You-Earn share scheme Flexible gym membershipsRole Overview – MET Technician You will be responsible for a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical and Trim duties, including: Carrying out MET work on allocated jobs to manufacturer standards Removal and refitting of radiators, air‑conditioning repairs, and re‑gassing Vehicle diagnostics, fault finding, and fault clearing Suspension component removal and replacement, including steering racks, subframes, hubs, knuckles, and associated parts ADAS calibrations (training provided) Airbag system work, including removal of dashboards and roof linings for airbag replacement High Voltage vehicle processes, including safe de‑energising and re‑energising Wiring repairs and electrical fault rectification Identifying additional repair work and liaising with the VDA Ensuring all work meets manufacturer gapping, tolerances, and quality expectationsRequirements – MET Technician Proven experience in a bodyshop environment is essential Strong background in MET, strip & fit, or mechanical repair Experience with suspension, steering, and structural component removal Understanding of wiring repairs and HV vehicle safety procedures Full UK driving licence City & Guilds, NVQ or ATA qualifications are desirable but not essential Candidates with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role will be of particular interestHow to Apply If you are interested in this MET Technician vacancy, please send over your CV and we will be in touch upon receipt.
