Are you a skilled ATA MET Technician looking to bring your expertise to a growing automotive repair team? Steer Electric in Eastleigh has an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your precision and passion for quality workmanship! About the Role: As an ATA MET Technician, you will: * Mechanical and Body Work: Perform all necessary mechanical and body repairs on vehicles. * Vehicle Dismantling: Dismantle vehicles in preparation for panel shop work. * Inspections and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding. * Parts Management: Order replacement parts and ensure they arrive on time. * Reassembly: Reassemble vehicles with new parts to restore them to their pre-accident condition. What We’re Looking For: * Experience: Strong experience as an MET Technician, ideally in an accident repair environment. * Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, with the ability to work precisely and safely under pressure. * Workload Management: Excellent planning skills to meet deadlines and manage your workload efficiently. * Specifications Adherence: Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and repair standards. * Team Player: A collaborative team player who can also take initiative and work independently. * Flexibility: A flexible approach, committed to delivering high-quality results. * Health and Safety: Adherence to health and safety protocols, including PPE use and maintaining a clean work environment.
