We are looking for a qualified and experienced MET Technician to join our Client's Accident Repair Centre in Middlesbrough. Responsibilities of a MET Technician will include: - Observing and reporting on vehicle structure and paintwork damage; - Ensure any faults are recorded on the job card; - Removal of vehicle components, fluids and gases; - Re-assemble vehicles after repair, paying attention to quality, checking panel alignment, noting all red readings on the job card; - 4-Wheel alignment; - Report any faults & defects noticed whilst working on the vehicle; - Actively ensure the repair method is in the job pack, fully understood and displayed in the vehicle at all times; - Dispose of all old parts, replace reuseable parts; - All mechanical work completed in accordance to agreed specification; - Torque all safety critical bolts and enter details in the log; - Take care of any equipment, specialist tools, personal tools, ensuring seat covers & foot mats are in place whilst working on vehicles.
