Strip Fitter/MET Technician East London (E6) Salary: £15ph- £20ph, depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday- 8am to 6pm Our client Our client is a family- run bodyshop with over 30 years of experience within the vehicle body repair industry. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately and efficiently dismantle vehicles in preparation for repair work, ensuring all parts are stored and logged correctly. * Assess damage and identify parts that can be salvaged or require ordering. * Re-assemble vehicles post-repair, ensuring that all components are fitted correctly and function properly. * Work closely with other technicians to ensure that mechanical, electrical, and trim-related components are fitted to the highest standards. * Ensure all work is completed within manufacturer guidelines and operational procedures. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. About you… * Proven track record as a Strip Fitter/MET Technician in the automotive industry. * NVQ Level 3 in Body Repair, Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification is desirable. * The ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * A full, valid UK driving licence.
