Steer Automotive Group is known for its high-quality automotive repair services, and as we continue to grow, we’re excited to welcome an experienced MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician to our state-of-the-art Bodyshop in Cheltenham. About the Role: As an MET Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components on various vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your expertise will ensure top-quality repairs, helping our customers get back on the road quickly and safely. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs, including ADAS calibration and wheel alignment * Dismantle vehicles to prepare them for panel work * Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics * Manage replacement part orders and inventories * Reassemble vehicles with new components, restoring them to pre-accident condition * Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards * Communicate effectively with the team regarding repair progress About You: You’re a skilled MET Technician with solid experience in accident repair. You maintain high standards, work well under pressure, and are committed to delivering outstanding results.
