Job Responsibilities: As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical, Trim) Technician, you will be responsible for: Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles to the highest standard. Stripping and refitting trim and panel components on vehicles to manufacturer specifications. Diagnosing and rectifying faults using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless repairs and customer satisfaction. Maintaining accurate records of work carried out, including all relevant documentation. Keeping up to date with the latest repair techniques and technologies in the automotive industry. Supporting the team in achieving performance targets and contributing to the overall success of the business. Job Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should have: Proven experience as an MET Technician within a collision repair or similar environment. A strong understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems. A recognised qualification in vehicle mechanics or a related field (IMI, NVQ, ATA, etc.). Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
