An aerospace component manufacturer based in Basildon are looking for someone with experience of mechanical assembly with solid rivets working from JIG's using hand and air riveting tools and other power tools to work their night shift. Preferably you would have experience assembling in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is working a night shift and the hours are Monday to Thursday 19.30 to 04.30, Friday 14.30 to 19.30. This is a 39 hour week. Overtime paid at an increased rate of x1.5 when available. The hourly rate for the role is £22.80ph based on a 39 hour week. Mechanical Assembler duties:- Using hand and power tools Mechanical assembly Using JIG's Using digital verniers and other specialist measuring tools Problem solving Countersinking Experience needed:- Mechanical assembly using rivet guns, hand and power tools Working from JIG's You will have used verniers and other special measuring tools You will have used sealants This is a permanent role.
