Working Monday to Thursday 8am-5:15pm, Friday 8am – 1pm (40 hours per week). This is a perfect role for someone who is energetic, hardworking and whether it is team based or independent and will take pride in what they do. Your Day to day duties within this role as a Vehicle Technician will involve: Following detailed work instructions and technical drawings relating to vehicle manufacture, repair and assembly. Carrying out servicing, inspection, maintenance and diagnostics of vehicles to the highest standard Working in accordance with current quality procedures and advise on any errors or variances to the Workshop Manager Maintaining all tools and equipment in a clean and usable condition Being prepared to work off site, abroad and outside of normal working hours, including weekends on occasions and at minimal notice Working with confidentiality at all times due to the nature of the products In order to be successful in your application for the Vehicle Technician role, you must have the following skills and experience: NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle repairs or a similar mechanical background (time served apprenticeship) Worked as part of a team within a workshop environment Have a logical and thorough approach to record keeping Be flexible with working hours to suit the needs of the business if required Be able to interpret engineering drawings Be aware of time pressures, while ensuring that the appropriate levels of quality and documentation are delivered.
