We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle mechanic to join our team based in Coventry. This isn’t an ordinary Mechanic position. This position will provide an opportunity to work on some fantastic, armoured vehicles and enhance your mechanical knowledge on the wider spectrum in addition to offering exceptional career advancement opportunities. The main responsibilities for the successful candidates are: • Repairing and Modifying vehicles • Engine removal and re-fitment of engine to vehicle • Experience of working in a workshop is required. • Perform restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, engine, air conditioning, security features, fuel pump, etc. • Using diagnostic equipment. • Replacing faulty parts. Mechanic Requirements: • IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle repair or equivalent is essential • Proven work experience as a Mechanic minimum 3 years • Having good manual dexterity. • Being able to follow instructions. • Having good communication skills. • Having excellent knowledge about motor technology. • Being methodical and organised. • Having good concentration. • Being able to work to strict deadlines. • Having strong interest in motor vehicles. • Good communication skills. • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Comprehensive selection of appropriate tooling Possible weekend overtime with premium rate Rate is from £15 to £24.95 per hour depending on experience Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35 E-ppl Limited is an equal opportunities organisation.
