Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Airport Mechanic to join our team at Stansted Airport. As a key member of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. Responsibilities: * Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of airport vehicles and GSE. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner. * Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards. * Collaborate with other maintenance and operational teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules. * Complete relevant documentation and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. Requirements: * Proven experience as a mechanic on either light or heavy vehicles * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of ground support equipment and airport vehicles. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with no weekends.
