This full-time Mechanic role is based in Telford, Shropshire, and offers an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour (equivalent salary of £26,000 - £26,500 per annum). The hiring manager is looking for someone who has experience working with Engines, so this role would be ideal for someone who has worked with Engines in a Workshop/Garage environment or has worked in a manufacturing environment working with Engines. We are looking for someone who has previous Strip & Rebuild experience, previous experience within the Agricultural, Plant Machinery, Construction, Off-Highway, Defence, HGV or LGV industry would be well received. As a Mechanic, you will work for a leading manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. Due to an expansion, the hiring manager is looking for someone with experience working with Engines. This role would suit someone who is used to getting their hands dirty and has mechanical/assembly fitting experience. As a Mechanic, you will be required to: Strip down engines and clean down the parts once disassembled Test the components once reassembled Read and understand engineer drawings Use hand and power tools daily, including spanners and torque wrenches Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
