Client Details Our client is a prominent automotive company with a large and diverse workforce. They are leaders in their field, and are known for their commitment to innovation and excellence. Description Ordering materials, maintaining stock inventory, and maintaining accuracy of the MRP system. Attend daily meetings to assess production schedules and material requirements. Expedite/ De-expedite materials when required. Liaise with internal departments to complete purchase requisitions. Identify issues which may affect production in a timely manner. Assist with material related issues and finding cost effective solutions.Profile A successful Material Controller should have: Experience in a similar role in manufacturing Excellent prioritisation skills Confident with IT and ideally experience using an MRP system Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levelsJob Offer An estimated salary range of £25000 - £28000 per annum. Monday - Thursday office based 8am - 5pm, Friday work from home 8am - 2pm.
