Job Title: Master Technician Reporting to: Workshop Manager Department: Mechanical Are you a Car Technician, with 7+ years’ experience? Are you a great problem solver? We have an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to lead our new Car Supermarket’s in-house mechanical team in Watford (stocking 1,500+ used cars). You will have your own state-of-the-art workshop with the opportunity to build your own team of mechanics as we expand. Your focus is on delivering great results with a quality 'First Time Fix.' What will I be doing? * Overseeing a team of mechanics * Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards * Carry out road tests when required to confirm and diagnose correct operation * Ensure workspace and tools/equipment is maintained to a high standard What do I need for this role? * Your own tools to be stored in a secure tool box provided by us * 7+ years experience as a vehicle technician * Understand and comply with health and safety standards * A full and valid Driving Licence It will be a bonus if you had: * MOT Tester qualification * NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+ The Package * Basic Salary: up to £60,000 (depending on experience) £80,000 OTE Other Benefits include Annual holiday - 28 days Working Hours: (two different shifts available) Option 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm - Every other Saturday Option 2: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm - Every other Saturday Overtime available If you're keen to learn more about this opportunity, apply now with your CV.
