Role & Responsibilities: * Focus on the reduction of non value added activities whilst working towards the maintenance of the site KPI's * Regular participation in improvement activities, as part of a multi disciplined team, on existing facilities and equipment * Responsibility for the installation of identified improvement actions and customer driven product changes while minimising the effect on Facility output * Creation and control of prototype parts, Tooling and equipment feasibility analysis and buy off activities * Lead or assist in the introduction of new products tooling and manufacturing facilities in line with SQCD targets * Support all manufacturing lines to achieve safety, quality, cost and delivery targets * Design, Manufacture and commission facility, fixture and tooling improvements or new concept * Support TPM and multi skilled maintenance activities relating to tooling and fixtures * Carry out productivity improvement studies and kaizen activities Knowledge, Skills & Experience: * A good working knowledge of metal forming, fabrication and assembly processes * A solid background in Manufacturing and Project improvement activities, CAD experience is highly beneficial * HNC / Degree in a Mechanical or Production Engineering discipline To apply please email your CV / resume to If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
