Manufacturing Process Engineer  Manufacturing Mon – Fri:  DAYS Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for process improvement and the implementation of process controls? This could be the role you have been looking for… We are actively recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join this hugely successful multi-site manufacturing business at their location near Pontefract, West Yorkshire. Reporting to the Production Manager and working with the Shift teams, you will be charged with monitoring and improving the Production performance of equipment across the site. The Role: Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows. Optimise productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures. Assemble reports to document process status and changes. Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades. Communicate findings and proposals to senior management and wider team Conduct risk assessments. Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. Working a Monday – Friday (DAYS ONLY) Shift Pattern. About You: ü  Engineering / Science Degree or equivalent qualification (Process Engineering HND seen as advantageous).  Experienced Process Engineers who have grown their skills within Industry will be considered, providing they can demonstrate the required skills for the role. ü  Detailed understanding of Statistical Process Control theory, including methods of design & implementation ü  Thorough understanding of machine and process capability management ü  Extensive analytical skills ü  Good understanding of change management governance ü  Strong understanding of Lean process and experience in lean manufacturing environment ü  Experience of leading and implementing CapEx and improvement projects ü  Good knowledge about RCP methodology and able to drive problem solving ü  A recognised qualification such as Six Sigma would be beneficial (but not essential) as would experience of managing print processes and standards across a manufacturing site This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multi-site packaging company with a world class reputation.
