Manufacturing Process Engineer - £35 per hour Inside IR35 - 7 Months (extensions highly likely) - Flintshire - standard 35 hours (double day shift pattern) - Onsite working - One stage interview - Sector: Aerospace Yolk Recruitment is currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to collaborate with a distinguished Aerospace company at the forefront of space exploration and travel. The role is primarily focusing on Manufacturing Engineering Work Preparation to industrialise new PLM drawings for aerospace products. You will need to be competent in the modification and supporting both mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities Implement best practice methods, tools and processes. Deliver detailed work preparation definition for aircraft production. Project manage detail manufacture, assembly, test and certification methods, tools and process improvements Evaluate capacity of the manufacturing process, enhance as required and recommend changes to the product design standard. Provide electrical and mechanical shopfloor support to operations, supply chain and Final Assembly Lines. Essentials Knowledge of Lean principles. Application and knowledge of SAP systems (APD, PEA, PAC) Ability to operate from first principles in manufacturing disciplines and activities requiring technical skills and knowledge Experienced knowledge of aircraft production, and engineering methods and procedures. Knowledge and Experience of Manufacturing Process within a Structures and Systems Production Area Desirable Aerospace or Aviation experience
