Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Redditch. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the plant manager and all value streams by ensuring robust manufacturing processes through effective shop floor support. A commitment to your health and wellbeing through dedicated programs and tools.Your main responsibilities will include: Providing manufacturing engineering support and maintaining processes like MFGPRO, standard work instructions, and tooling design/manufacture. Supporting the FRB and 8D teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Acting as a liaison between development engineers and senior manufacturing engineers for new projects from inception to integration. Supporting the facility with 3D printing for development and production tooling. Contributing to the plant's safety initiatives by facilitating a MESH element and driving towards zero incidents.Qualifications: HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in the aerospace industry.Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD for tooling design. Strong project management mindset. Good understanding of machinery; experience with lean manufacturing is a plus. Familiarity with RCCA analysis and 8D methodology
