An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites in the UK and the West Midlands require a Manufacturing Engineer to provide manufacturing engineering support to current production lines. The ideal candidate will have automotive manufacturing experience working with exterior or interior trim products. Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 p.a. Suitable for: Project Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer The Role Reporting into the Operations Manager you will have the following duties: -Plan and implement new products and changes to the manufacturing processes. -Manage suppliers. -Manage project and timing of complex assembly systems. -Support the quality department in close out of customer concerns through 8D. -Complete PFMEA's, process flows and standard operating instructions. -Generate layout and process flows. The Person Educated to degree level in a manufacturing discipline or holding significant experience in first tier automotive, you will have the following experience: -Knowledge of vacuum forming. -Knowledge of adhesive systems, selection and processing. -Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on complex IT systems. -Experience in a just in time (JIT) environment.
