Our client, a large dealership group, are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team in Scunthorpe. This role comes with a company car, generous bonus, and the job security and benefits of working for a large group.

Part or fully CIMA qualified

Management Accountant duties:
Hands-on and task focused to ensure an accurate and timely monthly accounting cycle.
Consolidate and analyse weekly business unit forecasts and trends.
Prepare and post journals.
Ensure the accuracy of financial information reported to Head Office within Company deadlines.
Provide robust Management Information (MI) and analysis to support the regional month end results.
Maintain robust records of financial transactions in accordance with financial control policy.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Complete information requests from business franchise partners.
Code and authorise orders and invoices.
Identify opportunities for improvement within the area of control.
Assist preparing the annual financial business plan (budget).
Be involved in projects as required.
Assist the Leadership Team in administration of Payroll, Credit Control, Cashiering, and Purchasing operations.
Secretarial and employee expense processing in line with Company policy.
Reporting of financial status of the franchises.
Timely and accurate production of monthly and year-end accounts.
Timely and accurate production of manufacturer composite reports.
Ensure robust business plan is produced and that business performance is measured monthly against plan.
Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
What will the successful Management Accountant get?
