Sytner Group Head Office are looking for a talented individual to join their Head Office Accounts Team as a Management Accountant. The role will be based at their Penman Way offices, Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional to advance their career and take on a new challenge at the heart of the Sytner’s accounting operations. The candidate should have proven experience working as an accounting professional within the automotive sector. Key areas of responsibility will include: - Preparation of Head Office departmental management accounts, working closely with Heads of Department - WOC preparation and analysis - Budget and Forecast preparation and analysis - Contribute to the development of internal process and control - Preparation of financial analysis and cost control analysis - Assisting with management of sales and purchase ledgers - Maintenance of the Head Office fixed asset register - Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including review and analysis - Procurement contract analysis and reporting - Assist with year-end accounting procedures including assisting with external audits - Provide support, training and mentorship to accounting team members Candidates will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient within both Keyloop and Excel. You will have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience with either an accounting qualification or be working towards one. Candidates will also need to be confident in working closely with the senior leadership team within Head Office. Why Sytner?
