Maintenance Planner, £40-42k, Newbury, 10% company Pension About the company ATA are currently working with one of the UKs largest construction materials manufacturing groups, supporting on a recruitment drive for their established site in the heart of Berkshire. The company who has been established for over 60 years employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. With a turnover eclipsing £400 million the business is going from strength to strength, and they have recently invested £4 million on new equipment which has secured their business for years to come. Having recently been promoted, the plant manager for the site has a great vision and see this maintenance planner as a critical role within that. About the role As a maintenance planner you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for providing a large engineering team their schedule for that day, including preventative maintenance, scheduled downtime, and project work. You will have the responsibility of writing critical breakdown, OEE, and reliability reports and then presenting this to senior management within the group. -         Organising and managing site shutdown periods. -         Managing critical stock control -         Managing the work management & CMMS system. -         Utilising engineers and resource in the most effective way. -         Managing a centralised engineering budget. -         Managing external contractors, checking they have the correct RAMMS, PPE, work permits and setting up SLA contracts. About you To be considered for this maintenance planner position you must have the following: -         Experience working as a maintenance planner -         Experience managing a CMMS system -         Experience managing a team to complete maintenance -         Experience with organising and managing site shutdown periods -         Engineering qualification -         Self-starter attitude. -         Previous experience as a hands-on engineer would be beneficial but not essential.
