Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine testing, calibration, record-keeping, with a high emphasis on Health and Safety and Continuous Improvement. The role involves working on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation, comprising of 2 days from 6 am to 6 pm, followed by 2 nights from 6 pm to 6 am. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively within a team to ensure effective maintenance and achieve maximum machine availability. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work efficiently. Maintain accurate records and update key engineering data to remain audit ready. Engage with and promote a strong Health and Safety culture within the team and across the site. Lead or participate in various projects aimed at improving business efficiency. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Electrical qualification required 16th edition upwards. Knowledge and experience of working on Siemens PLCs and drives. Ability to work on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation with days and nights. Experience in reactive maintenance and planned maintenance. Proficient in completing documentation and updating systems (e.g., Shires). Self-motivated and able to work alone on own initiative. Good decision-making skills and a team player. Sound mechanical knowledge with an electrical bias. Excellent organisational capability and time management skills. Knowledge of Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.
