Maintenance Engineer York £45,000 - £60,000 Our client is a market leader in their field providing value added services business to a portfolio of the leading food retailers in the UK. Operating from multiple sites in the UK, each of their facilities run production lines to deliver their services to their customers all through the UK and Europe. They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work from their York site. Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities: Working on maintaining a variety of machinery including conveyors, driers, chains and some electrical parts such as sensors, cables, touch screens and more. Following PPM schedules as well as dealing with reactive maintenance issues. Diagnosing faults. Work on identifying and implementing machinery adjustments, calibration and improvements. Ideally able to deal with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues Maintenance Engineer Key Skills/Experience: A multi-skilled technical background in repairs and maintenance covering electrical preferably also with some experience in mechanical and / or pneumatic. Knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, HMI systems would be beneficial. Previous experience working on PPM schedules.
