An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites across Europe require a Maintenance Engineer to take a proactive approach in maintaining systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in a 1st tier automotive environment and have the ability to multi-task. Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge Rate plus shift allowance: £56,845 p.a. Suitable for: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Team Member, and Senior Maintenance Engineer The Role Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will have the following duties: -To maintain the electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on the machinery within the site -To assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance for TPM and PPM. -To identify root issues and reduce downtime. -Fault find and repair on electrical based and mechanical faults on hydraulics and pneumatics -To replace and repair parts on all machines -To implement continuous improvement into daily activities to assist cost effectiveness -Shift work and flexibility is essential The Person To have experience in a 1st tier automotive background is essential and you will have the following skills and qualifications: -City & Guilds Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical is desired -Has a wide experience in PLC fault finding and is electrically biased -Must be flexible to work on 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights. -Experienced in Robotics -Mechanical, electrical, electronic, software background with knowledge of working in other disciplines To apply for this opportunity please click to apply or contact Greg Kneuss at the Ethero office in Telford for further details
