If so, the following permanent role may be right for you… As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary helping us to support our customers' requirements The successful candidate will provide a signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance You will be responsible for: Supervising engineering and flight line activity on company aircraft and associated equipment in conformity with authorised schedules Undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance of the aircraft fleet to ensure airworthiness is maintained to meet customer requirements on a daily basis Undertaking or supervising the investigation, diagnosis and rectification of defects and submission of reports as required, completing "all" documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures This role is predominantly Monday - Friday day shift and will be based at on site at Boscombe Down. You will have: EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license - Can be working towards licence and will consider other heavier licences Specific technical knowledge Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required Composite materials experience Knowledge of MoD Engineering procedures/documentation (desirable) Knowledge on propeller aircraft (desirable)The package: You'll receive a very competitive salary (please get in touch for details on this) and other benefits including pension, life assurance and 25 days' (plus bank holidays).
