Job Title: Level 2 Vehicle Inspector Locations: Bristol (Avonmouth) and Paddock Wood Status: Initially a 3-month temporary contract with a view to contract extension or permanent employment offer after a successful review period. Description: A fantastic opportunity is available for a qualified Level 2 Mechanic / Technician to join this prestigious motoring organisation as a Vehicle Inspector inspecting vehicles in a workshop environment. These are 70-point mechanical inspections for vehicles before they go to auction and the role is on-site at one of their clients. There are two levels of checks; Essential which are pretty quick to undertake and Blue Sticker which are more complex. Each check completed earns a "per check" bonus so wages can be boosted significantly! To be considered for the role you must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and be able to work on your own initiative. The company is especially interested speaking to candidates who can demonstrate the following key skills and experience: · Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) plus recent garage, workshop or roadside experience · Eye for detail and able to follow strict processes · Good administration skills Must hold Full UK B category driving licence with no more than 6pts for minor endorsements (no CD, CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements codes) Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Hours: between 08:00 – 17:30 with extended hours and extra shifts as overtime during busy periods. Full-time between 40-48 hours per week (average 42.5) Pay Rate: £12.72 per hour plus generous Productivity Bonus ("per check") paid after 12-weeks Productivity Bonus: Vehicle Inspectors can expect to earn an average bonus of £140 per week depending upon the shifts and hours worked with some earning over £200. Average Weekly Pay Figures: First 12-weeks: £545.00 (Annual equivalent £28,300) After 12-weeks: £685.00 (Annual equivalent £35,600) Additional Information: Interviews and technical questionnaire with the client will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams before an offer is made. Vetting: The company will require vetting including recent work references and background checks including a Basic DBS, Right to Work and Adverse Credit Check as part of their company procedures
