Job Title: Labourer - Electrical Automation Installation Support Location: Erdington Start Date: 16/02/26 Pay Rate: £16.50 Per/Hour (Umbrella) / £18.50 Per/Hour Weekends Hours: 50 hours per week Working Hours: 07:30 - 17:30, Mon to Thurs / 07:00 - 15:30 Fri We are looking for 2 reliable and hardworking Labourers to assist electricians on an automation installation project. The role involves supporting electrical installation works, carrying out general labouring duties, and acting as a banksman for electricians installing high-level lighting. Key Responsibilities: Assisting electricians with automation and electrical installation works Carrying materials, tools, and equipment around site General labouring duties including site housekeeping and keeping work areas safe and tidy Acting as a banksman for electricians working at height, including high-level lighting installation Following all site health & safety procedures at all times Supporting the site team as required to ensure the project runs efficiently Requirements: Valid CSCS or EMSS card (essential) Previous experience working on construction or electrical sites preferred Banksman experience or awareness is advantageous Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions Good awareness of health & safety on site Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks What's on Offer: £16.50 per hour 50-hour working weeks Long-term work for the right candidate Opportunity to gain experience on an automation installation project If interested please APPLY NOW or contact Joe Goode at Shorterm Group on (url removed)
