As an Import Logistics Coordinator within the International Logistics Department, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising import processes Areas of Responsibility Import Operations: * Coordinate imports, sourcing, repairs, and the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. * Collaborate with stakeholders, including carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, to streamline the importation process. Customs Compliance: * Stay informed on customs regulations and trade compliance requirements. * Manage the Inward Processing Relief (IPR) process from RMA to the Bill of Discharge. * Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and associated paperwork. * Work closely with import brokers to resolve issues and ensure regulatory compliance. Documentation and Record-Keeping: * Organise and maintain comprehensive shipment records, ensuring all documentation is complete and audit-ready. * Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy and compliance with customs requirements. Communication and Collaboration: * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless information flow. * Proactively communicate with external partners to address issues and enhance the supply chain process. Requirements: * Extensive experience in the international transportation or logistics industry, with a solid understanding of IPR processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. * Familiarity with SAP or equivalent enterprise systems (training can be provided). * Exceptional attention to detail. * Highly motivated, organised, and practical. * Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
