With offices in key aerospace hubs across the UK and Europe, they're on a mission to deliver top-notch maintenance and repairs to aircraft tooling and equipment. Role: Based out of Heathrow you will be working at various airports around the M25 - Heathrow Gatwick, Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Stanstead. A company Van is provided as well as uniform and a tablet for reporting. Company provide van and fuel etc you would just fund your commute to and from work. About the Role: Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? We're searching for a Hydraulics Engineer to join our team. You'll primarily be stationed at Heathrow, but your skills will also take you across the UK and occasionally Europe. Your role is dynamic, combining hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrics. Expect a mix of workshop tasks and on-site maintenance, ensuring aircraft ground support equipment runs smoothly. This role offers fantastic opportunities for personal and professional growth as we expand our business. Main Duties: Conduct planned maintenance on various aircraft equipment and tooling. Solve issues on hydraulic equipment, occasionally covering mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Repair and test various aircraft equipment and tooling. Read engineering drawings and manuals for fault-finding and spare part identification. Offer technical support to colleagues when needed, in-person or over the phone. Ensure safety by preparing risk assessments, method statements, and H&S measures on-site. Collaborate as part of our broader engineering team. Assist work activities at other airports or UK sites, as required. What We're Looking For: Experience is great, but we value a positive attitude above all else. Here's what we're seeking: Proactive problem solvers with a can-do attitude. Organised individuals with strong analytical skills. Proficiency in IT, including MS Office. Proven experience in hydraulics or similar roles. Sound technical knowledge of machinery and equipment. Familiarity with reading Hydraulic Circuit Diagrams. Electrical and pneumatic system skills are a plus. Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Willingness to work independently and travel to customer sites. Clear communication with people at all levels. Additional Information: Occasional travel between sites may be required. Must possess a full, clean manual driving licence. Right to work in the UK is essential. Airport pass eligibility, which necessitates a clean personal record and the ability to provide work/educational history with references dating back up to 5 years.
