HGV Workshop Technician Responsibilities: * A wide variety of servicing and repair work * Contribute towards effective “preventative maintenance”. * Prepare and submit vehicles to a standard appropriate for the issuing of an annual test certificate. * Liaise with parts suppliers to ensure correct parts are issued to complete jobs efficiently and within the requirement timescale. * Accurately complete relevant paperwork including job cards and service sheets using online systems to the required standard. * Ensure ISO & Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Required Skills and qualifications: * City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 / NVQ Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent * Minimum 5 years HGV workshop experience * The ability to work alone and use initiative to find faults. * A good understanding of HGVs including diagnostic fault finding. * HGV Class 2 driver’s license * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * General technical ability Benefits: * 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) * Private medical cover following 3 years of employment. * Discretionary performance related bonuses and incentives * Pension contributions * Internal and external training and development opportunities If this role is of interest, please contact Joshua Cromie for more information.
