As a HGV Vehicle Technician, you will be joining an Executive transport business that specialise in exotic car transportation. This business is highly interested in military veterans, and the skillset and experience they bring to the table. Responsibilities: • Apply disciplined approach to routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HGVs. • Utilise problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently. • Execute repairs and overhauls on engine components, brakes, and suspension with precision. • Leverage hands-on experience gained in the military to ensure meticulous attention to detail. • Use diagnostic tools effectively in identifying and addressing faults promptly. The ideal Candidate for this Vehicle Technician role: • Proven experience as an HGV or equivalent Vehicle Technician. • Military background with relevant qualifications and certifications in vehicle mechanics. • Ideal military background but will consider other suitable candidates. • NVQ Level 3 • City and Guild Level 1 or 2 • Irtec Qualification Summary: • £38,000 – OTE £45,000 • 28 days holiday • Overtime available • Shift work – One week on Earlies, then switching to late shift • Shift hours – Early Shift: 6am – 4:30pm.
