As an HGV Technician, we can offer you: * Exceptional earning potential depending on your HGV Technician experience and working pattern * DAF Academy Technician Training * 30 days paid holiday (including statutory) rising 33 day with service * Employee Of The Month Competition * Career progression opportunities * Pension * Free Parking Who are we looking for as an HGV Technician - Weekend Shift: * You will have previous experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector. * Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. * Or a time served HGV Technician. * Full UK driving licence. Shift Pattern - 4 continuous days that include Saturday & Sunday The HGV Technician role / responsibilities include (but not limited to): Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles. Fault Diagnostics. MOT Preparation. Mechanical and Electrical repairs. Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Road test vehicle when required, subject to licence restrictions. Attend any technical or development training that is made available.
