HGV Technician Supervisor Location: Stanwell Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Day Shifts) Hours: 06:00 – 18:00 Pay: £27 – £28 per hour (depending on experience) Annual Leave: 20 days per year The Role of the HGV Technician Supervisor We are seeking an experienced PSV Technician Supervisor / Chargehand to join a busy bus and coach engineering operation. This is a hands-on role working within a modern depot environment, maintaining and repairing a fleet of passenger service vehicles to a high standard of safety and compliance. You will spend approximately 80% of your time on tools and 20% on administrative duties, ensuring accurate records and job completion data are maintained. Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician Supervisor Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on buses and coaches Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults Work effectively within a structured shift pattern (4 on / 4 off) Complete relevant paperwork, job cards, and system updates Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity Support workshop operations as required Experience Required of the HGV Technician Supervisor Previous experience working on buses and coaches (PSV environment) Experience using Freeway workshop management system NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance IRTEC qualification (or equivalent industry certification) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills (mechanical and electrical) Ability to work effectively in a team and independentlyIf you are an experienced PSV Technician looking for a structured shift pattern and a strong engineering environment, apply today via Indeed or CV Library with your CV
