Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician Perform servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards Diagnose defects and faults accurately and carry out repairs efficiently Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop workflow and meet daily targets Use workshop systems to record work progress and parts used clearly and promptly Follow company and dealer processes and procedures and highlight opportunities for improvement Take part in training to maintain and develop technical skills and knowledge Maintain a safe clean workspace and adhere to health and safety requirements Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician Essential Previous experience as an HGV Technician Level 3 heavy vehicle qualification Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills Positive can do attitude and strong teamwork ethic Clear communicator who records work accurately Desirable HGV driving licence preferable Click 'Apply Now' to take the next step in your HGV Technician career.
