HGV Mechanic Location - BENSON  Contract Type: Full time / Permanent Annual Salary: £42,500 - overtime available DAY SHIFT  My client, a well established specialist Commercial Vehicle Maintainer is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to work in their workshop facility in Benson, Oxfordshire. The successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance to include Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical service and repair. General duties include correction of running defects, diagnostics, full vehicle overhauls, MOT preparation and where required MOT presentation and road testing. Essential Requirements: The successful HGV Mechanic MUST have have a strong background in commercial vehicle servicing and repair and be willing to undertake work off site at my clients customers sites (This is not regular, should there be a need to be off site a company vehicle will be provided). The successful HGV Mechanic MUST also have full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level Three) The successful HGV Mechanic will work an early / Day shift rotation with the hours of work being 05:30 - 14:30 Monday - Friday on the early shift, late shift hours will be 08:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday, when working the day shift there will also be a Saturday morning to cover from 05:30 - 10:30. The successful HGV Mechanic will earn a basic annual salary of £42500, overtime is available and will be paid at time and a half.
