HGV Mechanic Location: Chichester  Shift Pattern: Straight Day Shift - 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday - No weekends  Contract type: Full time / Permanent Annual Earnings: £38,000 My client, a specialist heavy goods vehicle maintenance organisation is actively recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to increase their team at their depot in Chichester. Working in a strong team of HGV Mechanics, the successful applicant will be required to undertake all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance to include vehicle inspections, defect repairs, servicing, MOT preparations and if you have a heavy vehicle driving licence, MOT presentations / road tests. You will also be required to complete all required paperwork relating to each job undertaken. The successful HGV Mechanic will work on a permanent day shift with working hours being 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. There will be no out of hours break down call out of an evening or weekend, however overtime will be available to increase your earnings. We are looking for skilled and experienced HGV Mechanics with industry qualifications, a heavy vehicle driving licence would be beneficial however not essential as the employer will provide driver training at a suitable time.
