Position: HGV Technician Location: Leicestershire Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Working Hours: Night Shift, 17:30 - 05:30 Company Overview: Join our clinets team in Leicestershire as a skilled HGV Technician! We are currently recruiting for both a HGV Technician and a HGV Supervisor to support their fleet maintenance operations during the night shift. Job Responsibilities: * Perform maintenance and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions. * Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. * Collaborate with the HGV Supervisor and other team members to prioritize work and meet deadlines. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory. Qualifications: * Previous experience as a HGV Technician or similar role is required. * Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair) preferred. * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work efficiently and independently during night shifts. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
