Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Loughborough Salary: Between £38,000-£42,000 Job Type: Permanent The Role Our client provides exceptional prioritisation of people - whether it be customers, colleagues and the community. Duties and responsibilities: To carry out routine service and repairs on all vehicles and trailers toward the DVSA standards. To diagnose and rectify all faults using your ability and experience, using your initiative, ensuring a cost-effective solution. To ensure all jobs are recorded properly, accurately and also appropriately and ensuring that all job cards and service sheets are actioned correctly. To keep up to date with all relevant DVSA and product developments and be receptive to training with regards to this. To be flexible in your approach to working and to be flexible also, encouraging the development and continuous improvement of the business. To be able to maintain high standards of housekeeping whilst on shift. The Candidate A technical qualification which is relative to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent) To be an efficient, neat and disciplined technician. To be responsive and be willing to learn, receive training and being able to assist the development of the team around you. An understanding of delivering a service to all stakeholders.
