As an HGV Technician you will be: Working as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieved its objectives and targets Ensuring quality diagnostics and repairs according to repair orders Ensuring work is quality assured and in accordance with standards and literature Maintaining working capacity of machines and tools Striving to achieve Rectification Ratio – Zero (right first time) Work closely with the VMU manager and communicate the number of parts and labour needed for additional repairs Record and report time spent on repair and maintenance Assure a clean and safe workshop at all times The successful HGV Technician will possess: City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is essential Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVs Practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives Safety awareness and be committed to a right first-time ethos A flexible and can-do attitude with the ability to work in a team environment and on your own initiative HGV Class 1 Driving licence is preferred Experience with Tail lifts is desirable We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons At Ballyvesey Holdings your right to privacy is important to us.
