HGV Technician  Job Role: HGV Technician  Location: Northampton Contract Type: FULL TIME / PERMANENT Hourly Rate: £18.90 - £40,000 - £42,000 Basic  Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off - DAYS - 06:00 - 18:00 MASSIVE TRAINING PROVIDED CLASS 1 LOLAR IRTEC MAIN DEALER TRAINING TACHO My client, a market leading Heavy Commercial Fleet Maintainer with depots across the UK is actively seeking to employ a fully skilled and experienced HGV Technician for their purpose built maintenance facility based in the Northampton area.   Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technician  on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, you duties will include;    Vehicle inspections.  General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.  Reactive maintenance as required.  MOT preparation / Presentation.  Correction of running defects.  Full vehicle overhauls / engine and gear box repairs.   In order to qualify for this exciting role with one of the UK's leading commercial vehicle employers the HGV Technician  must have the following; Be a fully qualified HGV Technician  with City & Guilds / NVQ  Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair Have knowledge of modern haulage vehicles   the hours of work for this HGV Technician  role are 06:00 - 18:00 on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern   The successful HGV Technician  can expect to earn a basic hourly rate  - £18.90 per hour with overtime available for those that wish to increase their earnings. HGV Technician s without an Irtec certificate will be given the chance to achieve this, support will be given to achieve a class 1 Driving licence, You will receive tail lift inspections & maintenance training and certification.
