HGV Technician needed Blackburn Our client, a Haulage & Bulk Aggregates company providing a range of haulage, waste management and recycling solutions , is seeking for a HGV Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will a strong HGV background and a highly skilled , looking to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Role: HGV Technician Hours: Mon to Fri 7:30am to 5pm = 45hrs of work Location: Blackburn Requirements: * Proven experience as an HGV Technician with a solid understanding of both plant and haulage vehicles. * NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, or time-served with extensive practical experience. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. * Full driving licence (category C+E preferred). Responsibilities: * Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to HGVs in line with company standards. * Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles. * Travel to customer locations to carry out repairs and servicing on-site. * Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest quality. * Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
